Demographic research and generating marketing mailing lists can be costly expenses that small business owners can’t afford. Sno-Isle Libraries has invested in numerous resources to help businesspeople, including up-to-date demographic information, trade and industry journals, and of course books on all aspects of running a business. Jennifer Keirans, a Librarian at Mill Creek Library, will cover how to find new customers, identify your competitors, and keep tabs on national trends in your industry by using the free tools offered by Sno-Isle Libraries. You’ll also learn how to get free professional development training for yourself and your staff.

Jennifer Keirans has worked in libraries for nearly fifteen years. She is particularly committed to library service for adults, including the business community. Jennifer has given numerous presentations and trainings on all of these resources and is always excited about introducing them to a new audience. She has also taught classes on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, and is currently teaching herself web design.
