SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:

Since its very beginnings, the MCBA has been committed to encouraging and assisting local high school students in their pursuit of higher learning in Business or a field in which they would like to pursue a business. For the 2010/2011 school year MCBA is offering four scholarships of $2000 each to graduating seniors of the class of 2011. All are open to students who are goal-oriented toward business, regardless of their actual majors.

APPLICATION CRITERIA:

Applications are open for the 2011/2012 school year. Applications are due by April 1st, 2012. Applicants must:

1. ...live in Mill Creek and/or attend school at either Cascade High School, Jackson High School, or Archbishop Murphy High School, and be a senior in good standing at the time of application.
2. ...be accepted to attend a full-time accredited College, University or Fine Arts School.
3. ...be planning an academic course of study in the field of their choice, but plan to pursue a career in business.
4. 4. ...submit ALL of the following materials together to the Scholarship Committee by April 1st, 2012:
   1. Typed Application Form (downloaded from www.millcreekbiz.com).
   2. Two letters of reference and recommendation from teachers, advisors, and/or local business people (cannot be a relative).
   3. Copy of the letter of acceptance from the institution they plan to attend.
   4. Typed Essay (less than 200 words) about their academic and career plans.
