Monthly luncheon begins with a half hour of networking followed by an hour-long lunch during which time various committees provide reports and then a speaker is featured. THIS MONTH'S SPEAKER: Sam Virgil, PHR With over 15 years in Human Resource Management and Business Development Sam Virgil is familiar with the challenges of a rocky economic environment. He has developed and overseen multi-million dollar budgets, built a $35 million dollar organization encompassing 14 locations, managed teams of up to 30 full time and 300 contingent employees, and led risk management interventions resulting in cost savings of over $300,000 a year. He has a proven track record of transforming obstacles into opportunities. Sam has overseen regional community relations efforts to vulnerable populations, built relationships with over 350 community based locations, and participated as a member of 11 significant business advisory boards. Sam continues to work with Snohomish County Business owners as the Business Services Manager for WorkSource Snohomish County, Sam attributes his success to being actively involved in professional and business associations, and learning early on that partnerships and collaborative effort afford everyone an opportunity to succeed.
